About the Practice

Coincidence Project is an ongoing photographic investigation, developed continuously for more than fifteen years.

Created by Denis Cherim, the project explores temporary relationships that emerge in ordinary reality. Rather than searching for extraordinary events, the work focuses on moments in which unrelated elements briefly align, inviting viewers to reconsider the familiar through a single point of view.

Denis Cherim is a Romanian-born artist based in Spain. His practice is centred on the long-term development of Coincidence Project and on the act of recognising hidden visual relationships within everyday life.
